Kehoo is a
contact management tool for Intuit’s Quickbooks® users to put customer, job,
vendor, and employee information, as well as Todo list on Microsoft Windows
Mobile® powered devices (formerly known as PocketPC’s). There are two components
of this software – desktop component and handheld component. The desktop
component, Kehoo Connection Manager, manages synchronization of data between
handheld device and QuickBooks® automatically. Kehoo Connection Manager runs on
Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP® or later operating systems. The handheld component,
Pocket Kehoo, allows user to view contact (customer, job, vendor, and employee)
and Todo information on their Windows Mobile® devices with search, sort
capabilities. Pocket Kehoo runs on PocketPC, PocketPC 2002, or Windows Mobile
(also known as PocketPC 2003) based devices.
Key features include following:
- Seamless integration with Intuit QuickBooks(R)
accounting package.
- Multiple partnerships with multiple company files to
be set up.
- Workgroup friendly – one team member can synchronize
data for all other team members with or without QuickBooks open (but need to
be installed).
- Pocket Kehoo has its own high performance database engine. This separates
Quickbooks contact information from default built-in contact data that are
often used for non-work related and very personal in nature.
- The database engine for Kehoo allows multi-column
search and filtering. All columns shown in contact list can be sorted. Even
the note field can be searched by a key word.
- Kehoo and its data can be installed on external
storage card. This will free up precious main memory when there are large
number of contacts.
- Kehoo is highly configurable – screen layouts and
dataset can be customized and changed without
recompiling.
