Pocket xBase(TM) is a high performance xBase database application for PocketPC. It is designed to handle large amount of data with speed and ease. Though it is a xBase database, other database applications can be used with it as long as it can export xBase format data (the .DBF file format used by Clipper(R), dBase(R), and Microsoft FoxPro(R)). Index is compatible with Microsoft FoxPro format. Key features includes the following:

Q: Can I store data on CF or SD card?
A: Yes, but it is slower than if it were in main storage
Q: How big can a database file be?
A: During test, we had a database file over 3.6MB with 8500+ records in it. Performance was excellent on an iPaq 3765 device.
Q: Why would I use Pocket xBase if I have Pocket Access database?
A: Performance and ease of use.
Q: Can I use it with Access database?
A: Yes, simplely export your tables in FoxPro 2.6 format. Copy the resultant files over to Pocket PC, maybe setup file synchronization.
